Adoption blessings: both vertical and horizontal

Before the creation of the world, those of us who have come to believe in Christ were predestined to be adopted as God's children and to be brought into His family. What an incredible miracle and what amazing love! As John says in his first epistle, "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God;"! We are so blessed to be a part of God's family - to be brought from eternal darkness to everlasting light, from wrath and judgment to grace and mercy, from poor and wretched sinners to heirs of the kingdom, from doom and despair to everlasting hope and joy! And we also feel so blessed that God, in His good providence, predestined that Josiah would be adopted into our family and by God's grace, we pray, into His family as well some day. How thankful we are for this little child that the Lord has brought into our lives! What a joy he has been so far and we love him with all our hearts. We hope in this blogspot to bring you some of those joys and funny moments that we have experienced being parents of Josiah. We welcome any advice or comments you may wish to share with us!
