If at first you don't succeed try, try again!
Josiah has started taking his first steps! He gets pretty
excited for himself when he takes a few steps - sometimes
he claps his hands and other times he gets a big smile on
his face. He's had a few little bumps along the way, but
we keep reminding him that it's o.k. and that he has to
get up and try again! Don't we all need that reminder
from time to time?

Important words of advice to Josiah from Great, Great Uncle Jimmie

It's been awhile since we've posted anything on our blog, so I figured it's about time to get something new on here! Josiah is doing well and keeps on growing and changing! He is still such a happy, contented boy and brings much joy to our lives each day. He is becoming much more mobile now and we're finding that if there is some object you don't want to be slobbered on and gnawed on, you had better get it off the floor! He is especially attracted to the remote control, cell phone cords, and other off-limit items (why is it that even though babies have tons of colorful, creative toys right within their grasp, they always seem to want to play with the adult "toys"?). He is also becoming much more vocal and likes to make himself heard by squealing, babbling, and his latest favorite - growling! Yes, we have a little growler on our hands. We don't know why he just recently started making that noise, but it's pretty funny! He doesn't have any teeth yet, though, so he's all growl but no bite - no need to worry.
